The cruise shows are in full swing, offering up ample summer beauty inspiration. At the Dior show in LA on Wednesday night, Miley Cyrus made the case for an indie sleaze revival – from her dressed-down denim to her festival hair.
In a look reminiscent of supermodel Kate Moss in the late 2000s, Cyrus wore her hair in artfully tousled, layered waves, with long bangs that grazed her cheekbones. To recreate the look, start by brushing out your hair (second to third day hair works best, for added texture), then spritz a volumising spray throughout. For even more body, you can flip your hair upside down and run your fingers through it a few times.
Cyrus’s make-up consisted of an invisible base, clear gloss and misty eyeshadow, blended up to her brow bone, creating a classic “doe eye” look and further accentuating her bold lashes. The “Flowers” singer can always be relied on to bring a touch of rock chick energy to an event – in contrast to her fellow frow-ers such as Sabrina Carpenter, who embraced more traditional femininity in the opening look from Jonathan Anderson’s latest collection.
