All The Best Looks From Vanity Fair’s 2026 Oscar Party
In a sense, the Oscars are as much a celebration of fashion as of film… Ok, maybe not as much, but the procession of Hollywood’s great and good in gasp-inducing gowns and tuxedos along the red carpet makes it one of the more lavish affairs on the style calendar. While the ceremony at the Dolby Theatre is where you’ll find the stately looks – swooning gowns in liquid drapes of satin, constellations of rhinestones and froths of tulle – it’s invariably after the main show that the A-listers really flex their fashion muscle.

We are, of course, talking about the after-parties – and one in particular: the annual Vanity Fair Oscars Party. In recent years, its red carpet has read more like an extension of the fashion weeks that directly precede it. That is, in part, due to the number of looks that walk straight off the runway – a particularly memorable coup being Hunter Schafer’s appearance in 2023, sporting a feather bra and mermaid skirt from Ludovic de Saint Sernin’s first and only collection for Ann Demeulemeester, presented just days before.
Last year saw a number of stars seemingly break with their brand contract obligations, either opting for vintage – Hailey Bieber in Yves Saint Laurent haute couture and Rachel Zegler in Alexander McQueen still live rent-free in our minds – or to support independent talent, with Rosalía taking to the carpet in a gong-worthy corseted nude-illusion number by Dilara Findikoğlu.
While the bar may be set dizzyingly high, there’s no doubt that the stars will pull out all stops. After all, this year’s edition of one of Tinseltown’s sparkliest parties – held at the Los Angeles County Museum of Contemporary Art – is an especially noteworthy one, the first overseen by the publication’s new global editorial director Mark Guiducci.
