In terms of A-list couple fits, one duo consistently comes out on top. I refer, of course, to Rihanna and A$AP Rocky, whose relatively rare but always impactful joint rappearances often spark online conversation, whether they’re popping out for dinner or walking the red carpet. Last week they made their traditional appearance at the 2026 Met Gala: Rihanna looking regal in sculptural Maison Margiela by Glenn Martens, on the arm of Rocky in custom powder-pink Chanel.
Taking a slightly more reserved approach over the weekend (at least by their own standards), the pair stepped out on Sunday for a date night in New York. Wearing trending shades – Phoebe Philo’s oversized Bombé frames, currently clamped over the eyes of everyone from Elsa Hosk to Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Charli xcx – Rihanna joined in with Charlize Theron and roughly half of the attendees at this year’s Coachella Festival by embracing bra-first fashion beneath her oversized blazer.
Her more covered-up counterpart wore a suede Bottega Veneta jacket paired with jeans. It counts among the more relaxed instances of couple’s style from the pair who previously gave us sheer, bedazzled, bump-hugging date-night looks and head-to-toe logomania. But even when they keep it relatively casual, Rihanna and Rocky’s approach to complementary outfits is unmatched.
